DescriptionPage 1I'm a fan of Shawn Crystal's graffiti/pop art influenced style, as well as his ability to really shine with color pieces. The idea to commission him to draw Dazzler entered my mind a few years ago, but then the pandemic happened, so when the delay resulted in me starting an X-Men sketchbook (and then a 2nd X-Men sketchbook), I knew that was the spot for Shawn to illustrate Dazzler. I set up the commission with Shawn (and Jason at Essential Sequential) at Terrificon and it was ready to go at Dragon Con 2022. Got the fun, colorful result I was hoping for and couldn't be happier.
