Back in July, I made a day trip to Terrificon, mainly to check out some of Josh Cassara's art. While I was there, I decided to start on a second X-Men sketchbook.

I wasn't sure who to kick it off with, but Mike McKone was there and he's been putting out absolutely beautiful watercolors lately.

I asked about his capacity for the day & he had enough time to fit me in. A few hours later, I picked up a masterful rendition of Colossus to start my next sketchbook and I couldn't be happier.

Thanks to Mike for the great addition!

The metal surface colors are awesome! It has McKone's color treaatment over that classic sinewy metallic musculature.
