Description

In addition to the beautiful composition, the juxtaposition of an ancient Roman chariot mixed with a modern day race car captivated my imagination. Being a relatively straight forward thinker, ideas like this provide a nice spark for me, and Jesse has them in spades.

As an aside, Jesse did a few of these Tarot card drawings for fun because the idea sparked him. Turns out, someone out there saw them and hired Jesse to create a whole series to be turned into actual cards. He's working on the rest now for release in 2024.

I recently got this set of tarot cards - they are beautiful and fascinating. I've never been one to use tarot cards (I grew up with a big sister who for a time was obsessed with them), but after getting this set I want to play around with them, just as an excuse to soak up the wonderful illustrations (which look amazing with color!).

By the way, when I went through the set I couldn't help picking out my favorite 4 or 5 images - this was one of them, and I was surprised to see it on CAF from a few years ago. Congrats!
