DescriptionCLICK HERE FOR AUCTION LISTING!SOS was a Warren-esque comic magazine, published in Spain by Valenciana 1948-1984, w/four well-differentiated periods, existing first as a humor magazine before transitioning to a horror anthology format. This issue is from the "third stage," which ran for 58 issues. Offered here is the cover to SOS #38, published in 1982. 9.75x13.5" artboard w/attached vellum overlay features mixed media original art for cover, featuring rats attacking dungeon prisoner. This ties into first story in this issue and has title/issue number in red ink at top margin of both art and overlay w/artist's name at top of artboard, though art is o/w unsigned. Exc.
