DescriptionA framed oil on canvas portrait of Cassandra Peterson in period costume (featuring a small cameo depiction of Peterson's former husband and manager Mark Pierson on the belt buckle) signed by artist Robert Redding and dated 1985. The painting was executed by Redding as a gift for Peterson on her 34th birthday.Robert Redding, an artist and dear friend of Peterson, created Elvira's original wig, costume, and makeup. He died from AIDS complications in 1986, partly inspiring Peterson's decades of AIDS activism. A life-size 49.5 x 41.75 Purchased from Cassandra Peterson, herself. Social/Sharing |

Cool back story and super unique. All thats left now is to cut out the eyes and hang on a wall with secret hidden chamber in it.
