DescriptionI commissioned Clarke to do a Black Canary drawing. I guess he felt it needed Green Arrow. Thanks, Clarke... but how I hate the hooded Green Arrow!!!! !! !! ! ! S. Clarke Hawbaker is a really good artist, most known for the Nomad series for Marvel. He also worked on Samuree 6 for Neal Adams' Continuity Comics. If you pick up the issue, you'll see a lot of Adams swipes. It may have been a certain publisher that said imitation was the most sincere form of flattery. Now, look away and whistle... Black Canary was created by Robert Kanigher and Carmine Infantino. Green Arrow was created by Mort Weisinger and George Papp. Social/Sharing |

This is absolutely fantastic, I love it. And YES, Hawbaker IS a really good artist.....
