Description

"Hook" (Steven Spielberg, 1991) concept by Mick McGinty. I guess the art directors at Seiniger liked this idea, because it's not the first artwork I've seen that iterates on this composition. Dave Christensen also did some concept work that featured the hook and the moons. I'm not a huge fan of the film, but they did some great stuff with it's marketing. And it's one of those special films that had one poster done by Alvin and one by Struzan!

The frilly sleeve even looks like the crashing surf around this lighthouse design. Simple and elegant design that gets the point across!
