I recently picked up the Rom page where Richard Rider loses his Nova powers and here's where he gets them back after Night Thrasher drops him off of a building :)

I've been looking for a nice page from New Warriors #1 for a while, so I was really happy to get this, in spite of the condition issues (mainly significant yellowing). The page also features Vance Astro (Marvel Boy) trying to break into Avengers mansion in an attempt to join the team.

This was a memorable first issue, in large part because of Richard Rider being thrown off a building to restart his powers. Congrats on landing this awesome page!

The yellowing just shows it's got some good age to it. It doesn't bother me a bit! Great page, I love the inks!

It has a fine patina signifying that it's had a long journey to get to your hands making it even more rewarding! Number one issue pages are cool no matter what as they really have to hit hard to sell the premise. Avengers using Doc Ock tech is amusing and so is the white zip used.

Very cool page from New Warriors #1! Great action by Mark Bagley and Al Williamson! Love that second panel and, of course, the final panel! Bagley was so good at drawing action scenes. And Al Williamson was so good at....everything.

This brings back super fond memories! I reread NW #1 over and over again. It was this book and the early ASM issues that got me into Bagley. Congrats!
