Two classic headshots for the time period on this memorable cover. It's a design that ins't too common and they use it to great effect. The Lashing guy has the attention of both as he's the wildcard and key to tie everyone together for this production.

Great MTU cover by LaRocque and Layton! Love the juxtaposition of the black suit Spidey head and the Iron Man helmet! And adding the full figure of Backlash below them for contrast is such a great touch! Stunner of a cover!
Very nostalgic piece for me too--came out right when I started collecting. I was first introduced to Iron Man in Secret Wars--and then I think this issue of MTU might have been next. Rhodey was Iron Man, as far as I was concerned!
