Description

The popular consensus among Bolland experts is that this is a demonstration piece done at a convention sometime in the early 80's. While I usually stick with collecting published stuff, I'll always make an exception for Bolland!

Rare to see him on Marvel characters! This looks like it could have been the Wolverine in God Loves, Man Kills.

It is a unique oddity. Its a pity Brian did not work more for Marvel. Never been entirely clear on why that was. Other than a few covers and illustrations that is. I think he preferred DC heroes as thats what he read.

I think this is a drawing done by him at an early Chciago COmicon he appeared at (1976 or 1977) I remember him working on it - he only did 3 drawings at that con thanks to the SPirit Jam Denis Kitchen invited him inot at the show
