A great day for this post. Thanks for sharing!
Great cover! Happy 4th!
Nice! Can never get enough of Cap nazi beatdowns!
Omg!
I love the battle scene at the bottom and the large, looming Cap in the background!
Very cool!
The detail on the image without the overlay is just amazing. Thanks so much for sharing that. What a beaut! Happy Independence Day, Cap!
Cool as F*CK! Congrats !!
Spectacular Cap cover for July 4th holiday!
Total barnburner of a cover!! I mean, it's spectacular! Major congrats, and Happy 4th!
I remember this cover so well! What a fun find! Congrats!
NIce page - SInnott inks always great on Cap!
So awesome that it has a Sal styled Cap at the center of the action! Probably nods to Kirby and others with such a wild battle scene!
Spectacular cover Dan! And great to get to meet you at Heroes!
A GREAT one Dan! Congrats!
A classic from the era, from the time when Hoberg was trying to get regular comics work and just before getting into animation on a regular basis. The Sinnott inks really pull the entire thing together rather beautifully, don't they?
Great cover - love tht batlle scene montage! Congrats - thanks for sharing!
Sigh. Why did I say no again? I could have cleaned you out. ;)
Great cover, bud!!
Excellent Cap cover, Dan! And an important What If? issue, to boot! Are you going to frame it with or without the overlay?
Great cover to a well-remembered story! Beautiful art by Hoberg and Sinnott. I love the image of Cap at the top, vowing to save Bucky. And l love the bottom splash with Cap struggling to get at the Red Skull. Altogether, a classic What if? comic!
Lots to pore over with this one, Dan! Love the composition, almost effortlessly melding the multiple images. Really great stuff. Congrats!
My goodness! That is one gorgeous cover. What a treasure.
