It's got a bit of a Lee Weeks look to it. Nice composition and lovely organic inking by Grindberg. Thankfully, Lincoln freed the slaves and abolished slavery and the ownership of Daredevils, so we don't need to wonder what may have happened in such an ugly scenario! Kingpin may have forced him to jump the Grand Canyon in a homemade skyrocket or jump the fountain at Ceasar's Palace on a motorcycle, thereby putting his life in serious jeopardy! Who knows?!?

A deal with the devil is struck!  A spotlight against a brick wall harkening back to classic pulp era crime imagery.  The Watcher sees all and this Grindberg cover is one he saw going into your collection!

Stunning What if? cover by Grindberg! Love the dramatic scene here, with Daredevil putting himself in harm's way to protect the Kingpin--That's a scene I'd never expect to see! Fabulous premise and perfect execution--Now that's the way to sell comics! Great pick-up, Paul!

I remember picking this issue up when it hit the stands because the cover was so intriguing, meaning this is a cover that did its job well - getting potential readers to pick up the book to see what's inside.

Interesting concept, no doubt!  Why stop at Hell's Kitchen, or NY for that matter?!  Got DD doing your dirty work...let those Fisk ambitions go wild!  Congrats!
