Revisits and has the genuine emotion resulting from the Death. It's power still resonates and this is an experience that hasn't been felt by fans since the 90's.
Absolutely fantastic! The fabulous figure of the guardian as he walks over somberly towards Lois while she cradles Superman's body, is really terrific. Truly sets up the mood for the moment. The scene with CPR desperately being initiated on Superman is also an incredibly powerful image. Also, after so recently seeing the most realistic depiction of the New Gods I've ever seen in comics in the latest issue of Action (#1048), I doff my cap to Butch for now providing me with the most realistic depiction I've ever seen of Dubbilex! Kudos on the acquisition of both of these pages, Matt!
