Definitely an example of the art losing something in the coloring process. Williams' black and white original is full of the energy you want to see in a Flash comic. It's an outstanding piece of OA.

I go away for a minute and the CAF world goes topsy-turvy! Is the Hulk wearing a Flash costume? 😉 Love the concept and stretch, Dave. I always dug the energy that Freddie Williams brought to the speedsters. He got the job, and kept the motion constant, frenetic, and CHARGED. And the layout for this splash is perfect to accentuate all that, too. Nice pick-up!
I mean if you're gonna get a Flash page, GET a Flash page! Killer splash up top by just as cool are the zooming out then zooming in...zooming panels :) These are definitely some of my favorite pieces - a nice spashly shot with some storytelling panels, too. Congrats!
