Description

Back in the day I worked at Raven Software on the game X-Men Legends. I was asked to do a cover for a free comic book that would be given out at game shops or at conventions. The insides were a reprint of New X-Men #1, if I remember correctly. I worked up a design and penciled up the cover, which you see here

Sadly I was told that Marvel Comics had the authority to have the cover done and I didn't get to finish it. But to my surprise, when I got a copy of the book, I was surprised to see that they pretty much used my layout for the work which I found was done by Aaron Lopresti!

So here is a fun bit of crossover history.
