DescriptionNovember being Native American heritage month, here’s the second of 2 Native character Marvel cover posts by Native artist Jim Terry! The other features Red Wolf. This one? Almost the rest of the gang :)So cool seeing so many Native Marvel heroes in one image like this – roster’s in the title. Particularly, loved Warpath in 2008’s X-Force (“a team of mutant warriors to do what the X-Men cannot”) and here I got him in those threads, the black and grey with red lenses. Quick aside – check this commission out. Spin on the Fastball Special :) - https://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=924772 . And Dani Moonstar’s a fave. Older school Native character, and I’ve always dug the arc she’s been on, including all of the different looks that went along. And here she’s front and center in my favorite – New Mutants uniform with Native elements! Yes, sir. And got Echo and American Eagle, too. Overall a nice composition, and to me, a powerful image with these 4 coming at the viewer. Also dig their expressions. AND this book covered a one-shot showcasing Native writing and drawing talent. Being half Navajo myself, was stoked to see some “Indigenous Voices” in this medium I like so much, and was equally stoked to pick up this cover OA. Thanks, Jim, and thanks, all, for looking! Great group of characters jumping right off the cover. Dani Moonstar remains one of Claremont's best creations.

Way to honor Native American Heritage Month with such a powerful and beautifully drawn team action cover! Jim Terry is really great with the facial expressions. And if you're the unfortunate bad guy(s) this team is running towards, well aren't you lucky? You get your pick of knives, guns, a bow and arrow, or good old fashioned bare knuckles. Um ... if I were you ... I'd run ... and fast. Thanks for sharing, K!

This and the Red Wolf cover were definitely meant to be in your collection, Kahlil. The only thing I'm sad about is that Shaman & Talisman (Elizabeth Twoyoungmen) weren't included. Might they have made it onto another cover celebrating this special month, or does Marvel really have that much disdain for Alpha Flight?
