Great, moody atmosphere here by the unsung Spaniard, Jesus Blasco!
Great Marvel mid 70's magazine with more adult themes and the influence of horror and sex that Warren was having success with. Blasco was in his mid 50's and at the top of his game with moody and spooky art!
So glad to discover I'm not the only one who loves 'Blasco.' Yes, a seriously undervalued and incredible artist.
Blasco was at the peak of his powers at this point and this is a stunning splash page . I wonder where on earth it's deen all this time, I don't think I've seen anything from this strip before.
