Description

As anyone who's seen Shawn's work knows, he uses the basic character look as a starting point for his hyper-stylized interpretations. Here he chose to make the soul gem the centerpoint of the piece, and watching his exquisite brushwork as he did this live was a real treat. Of all the pieces I own, this is the one I'd most like to see as a tattoo.

Mind blowing! The Adam Warlock design fits in with the mind expanding 70's wave of new and experimental creativity! Crystal's take is a head shot and then some!

Spot on, Marcus. I could see a blacklight version of this hanging in a Haight-Ashbury head shop.

Shawn Crystal is not someone i am familar with but i really enjoty this piece. thanks for introducing me to some one now.
