DescriptionSeems like a long time since I posted a piece by one of my very favorite artists, Humberto Ramos! And this one is especially cool. Not only does it picture Miles Morales as Captain America charging forward with a beautiful background behind him, but it also has a Miles-costumed Spider-Man swinging next to him, with lots of webs. Before I read the issue, I imagined that they would have Miles become Cap, and then someone else would don his Spider-Man threads, but that second part didn't happen in the story. I think Humberto just wanted to portray Miles in two different guises in the same scene, which I totally dig. Thanks for looking! Social/Sharing |

I continue to enjoy Ramos' work thanks to you, Pauly. Not enough to want to collect it myself, but given that I once absolutely hated his work, you can say I've done a complete 180. I really dig the backgrounds, nice work on the bridge!

Miles, don't do this to me! I got a car to deliver! The last thing I need is a detour to the slammer!

Ramos gives Spider-Man that spidery feel that harkens back to the days of Ditko. Very nice stuff.

Ramos' Spidey makes me happy. He's got that kid quality that made everyone fall in love with Ditko's Spidey all those decades ago, imo. Most people kept him slim, but ever more muscular. I like that some of the original style came back with Miles. And What If he became Cap? Well, I guess that'd be awesome? Sweet? Let's do it? Love this cover, Paul. Swingin'

The Miles what if stories are so much fun. I haven't read this one but I want to after seeing this cover (Ramos covers tend to have that effect). Congrats!

What I like most about this cover is that you can really tell it isn't Steve Rogers under the mask. Great addition!!!

Webs all over the place and the Brooklyn Bridge in the background. I think this piece is fun with a soundtrack of Beastie Boys- No sleep till Brooklyn. Awesome cover. Humberto's artwork is awesome.

Fantastic cover, Paul, filled to the brim with Humberto's energy and unmistakable style. His command of both anatomy and action are on full display, and this one has a whip-crack (webbing crack?) immediacy that makes you want to tear open the issue to check it out. Great depiction of the Brooklyn Bridge, too (looking towards the Brooklyn side, of course :) ). Congrats on another "boo-yah!", Paul! :)

Miles and Miles! Nice 2 character focused cover, and man, I love Humberto's rendition of the Miles costume. So crisp with them inks, particularly on the mask and chest. Too good. Congrats!
