Great X-Men page! Any idea why Wolverine's costume has the "eye things" but no helmet? I've never seen him with his hair freely flowing yet still wearing those "eye things". Mind you, this IS a What If? book, so maybe that's not the real Woverine?

Okay, I've just checked and can confirm that it is indeed a situation where the battle damage has torn off most of the helmet so most of his hair is exposed!

Whenever the X-Men are in a What If? expect the most dire of consequences and for things to take a dark turn! This one has a half splash of open warfare against Mr. Sinister turning the X-Men into killers and marking the death of Xavier's dream.

Cool page. The What If...? books gave the creators a license to kill!

A great mix of inking techniques make this piece stand out beautifully. Love the look of this.
