DescriptionA snapshot in time. It would be nice to have seen the evolution of the art as Nick inked it. If anything, this shows that Nick was "un-inkable" because he never did full pencils. He'd loosely sketch out the action and characters. After the lettering was complete, he'd proceeds to inking. Originally unpublished but was later used in the Nick Cardy interview in Comic Book Artist 48. Jericho was created by Len Wein and Marv Wolfman. Social/Sharing |

Giving people the chance to see unpublished art, especially art with this history, is one of the great pleasures of CAF. It's too bad DC panicked over its first African American superhero as Cardy's art on your two pages show what might have been.
