Description

I found and purchased the first of my 4 publicity drawings [ of 6 produced --there was no Good Housekeeping page],in 1979, the second in 1984, and the third in 1986. After the passage of so many years, I was somewhat surprised when this fourth example [which I had never seen and had no idea of its subject matter] popped up at auction more than 30 years later. To the best of my knowledge, all three of Disney's important publicity artists worked on just one short cartoon -- Woddland Cafe. A comparison of their work at the same time and on the same cartoon supports my long held belief that Manuel Gonzales was the most talented of the three.
