Description
I’ve been looking for Joker art by Marshall (the Laughing Fish) Rogers, and was pleased to find this vintage page from the 1980’s.

Here , Joker is featured across several images:
Full figure and head shot,
along with his Red Hood at ACE chemicals origin,
a (Jerry Robinson) Joker card,
and even the Batman chasing that wacky Joker
- all drawn by Marshall, who helped re-defined the character.

Thank you for liking my Red Hood. You know, this might have been the page that tipped me off about the drawing’s significance – the date tallies, but my memory is a bit fuzzy about things from over 35 years ago. This is one heckuva nice pickup. Only one thing as good as Rogers inked by Austin or Giordano and that is Rogers self-inked, and this is the next best thing to a page from The Laughing Fish/Sign of the Joker. Congrats.

Thanks for commenting, it would be neat if this piece held that connection with your (impressive) Bolland Red Hood!

Thanks for the compliment! I think that Marshall inking himself brings out a new menace, with his Joker
