Description

22�x27� (framed 32�x37�) Painted in 1953, Robert Watson gained some notoriety in the science fiction world when Ray Bradbury chose one of his paintings for the 1958 version of The Martian Chronicles; though the painting was tinted red as opposed to the original bluish color of the painting. I purchased the piece in 2010.

The scale of the arch relative to the single figure makes you feel overwhelmed from the achievement and it's granduer.
