Description
22”x27” (framed 32”x37”) Painted in 1953, Robert Watson gained some notoriety in the science fiction world when Ray Bradbury chose one of his paintings for the 1958 version of The Martian Chronicles; though the painting was tinted red as opposed to the original bluish color of the painting. I purchased the piece in 2010.

The scale of the arch relative to the single figure makes you feel overwhelmed from the achievement and it's granduer.
