Wow! It captures everything cool about Maul as this kind of pose is the direct answer to a Jedi's when getting set for battle! Right in between the Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones, fans still wanted to know more about him after seeing his demise.
Glows with intensity. Amazing!
I've had this piece of artwork since 2000. This was long before I started collecting sketches and original art. I was just a big Star Wars fan and thought Darth Maul looked bad ass! 😁
From the very first moment he appears on screen, Darth Maul was such a menacing image. And Joe captures that perfectly here. If you had never seen Star Wars and didn't know who this guy was, just one look at this and you would immediately want to know and see more!
