Batman by Nasser

Originally commissioned by Todd Reis, this piece was used in David Anthony Kraft's Comics Interview 78. The interview focused on Reis' large collection of Batman commissions. Reis traded for the commissions by creating 3-D dioramas from cutting up multiple copies of the artists' comic covers.

But to this day, I still don't know why Batman is holding the staff. *
