"Elektra: Present Assassin"!

Ha, couldn't resist. Fred titles this "Santa Claus and Elektra" on the back of the card.

It may be a bit late for Christmas art, but I also recently celebrated a birthday last month in January, and the one and only and ever generous Mr. Jeff Wedding sent me this as a birthday card/present.

Thanks so much Jeff, this is such a fun one, and I think with all the Hembeck's you've sent me I may have an itch to go after a few more of my own Hembeck sketch cards. Maybe not enough for an impressive full binder like yours, but stay tuned!

Box has arrived, present inside
Jeff’s all good and nice, now there's Santa at my side
And Fred colors clean, love swirls on knees
That's when someone cards me, but I don't look seventeen

'Cause I've thought about birthday show, surprise of Hembeck find
And I think I'm gonna love this for the long long sai

Its not misspelled. He just didn't connect the "l" and the "c" to make the "k". Unless you think he spells it Elelctra.

love Fred's unique take on this. they are both wearing each other's hats? getting dressed ion the dark again. poor Mrs. claus. the wife is always the last to know.

I have no doubt that Elektra stabbed that box because she learned there was a poisonous snake inside intended to take down Santa. Another evil plot by the Easter Bunny foiled by Elektra.
