Description

Before Ad Carter's wonderful and quirky Just Kids comic strip (1923 to 1957), Our Friend Mush was a panel cartoon syndicated by the Philadelphia Inquirer from 1919 to 1923. Both strips featured a similar cast of characters, including Mush, as well as Carter's charming approach to drawing. This is the only example of Our Friend Mush that I've seen. It's from 1923, the final year of the feature.
