Description

Mike is a great artist and a super nice and funny guy. He is great to hang out with at Cons. This popped up on HA and made me smile. A fun series that brought me joy in a difficult real estate market(escrow is the day job). Love the Audrey Hepburn vibe in the last panel.

Mike McKone Avengers Academy #2 Story Page 19 Original Art (Marvel, 2010). This exciting page features a showdown between Quicksilver and his Young Avengers student, Finesse. In only her second appearance, Finesse (Jeanne Foucault) confronts Quicksilver about his family's dubious history of heroism. She knows he was not a Skrull during Secret Invasion, an excuse fabricated to cover up acts of villainy. Ink over graphite and blue pencil on a Marvel Bristol board with an image area of 10.5" x 15.5". Signed by the artist in the bottom-right corner. In Excellent condition.
