Description

18”x30” (frame 24”x34”) Done in 1984; purchased in 1995. Short story: This was the first painting we ever said, if we found it, we’d buy it. When my wife and I were dating, I gave her a print of this painting that I purchased from the Pendragon. We still have that print. We met Victoria at the 1995 World Fantasy Convention in Baltimore. I asked if she still had the painting, she did at home, and we bought it from her sight unseen. Cover for the paperback book by Marion Zimmer Bradley, Web of Darkness, published by Baen in 1984.

Very attractive with the elegant young innocent princess as the focus and protagonist. So much work goes into achieving this perfect and pure look.
