DescriptionMy 2nd collaboration with George Scribner. I have always loved this ride, and George's style suited the scene perfectly. There are a couple of hidden Mickeys - good luck and enjoy!Oils on Canvas 24" X 36" Social/Sharing |

A good colaboration between you & George. I especially like the way the boat "pops" from the background without being too bold, and the elephant is nicely placed.
The Jungle Cruise at Disney World was a favorite ride for me too, and I had a friend who was a tour guide on the ride. I was there for Kenny's planned last day of work, and it was quite the sight to watch Kenny - with a rubber prop knife clenched in his hand - lunge off the boat into the river and attack a hippo. Definitely not a normal part of the ride, but the tourists didn't know that and they thought it was absolutely awesome.

Thanks, Ingrid. It was fun to see it come together. George was concerned I had too much going on (typical of me), but I explained the jungle should be dark from the dense foilage, and a shaft of sunlight could hit the boat - this would subdue the surroundings, and help the viewer focus on one thing. It would have been awesome to watch Kenny dive in, especially unexpected for the guests.
