DescriptionCLICK HERE FOR AUCTION LISTING!10x14.5" thick artboard has mixed media original art by prolific and renowned Spanish comics cover artist Rafael López Espí. Cover is for Power-Man Vol. 1 #14, which reprints two Powerman stories from issues #47-48. Published in Spain c. 1977 Mundi. Artboard has been hand-painted from edge to edge w/art showing an original composition based on art from the US issue cover #47 by Gil Kane featuring Zzzax and an A.I.M. guard. Lt. aging/handling wear. Art remains bright and clean. Displays VF. A wonderful example from the era when Espí's art dominated covers of Spanish comic books, featuring one of Marvel's popular characters and is unsigned by artist. Superb and dynamic cover art.
