Description

Thieves World loomed huge in my formative years. The first AD&D campaign I played in the early 90s had a campaign that utilized the setting and characters as NPCs. A few years later I would go on to go back and read many of the anthology collections of Thieves World stories as I also became a huge fan of Asprin’s Myth books.

I love the Myth covers and those probably have a stronger nostalgic pull for me, of the two series, but Velez was at his peak doing the Thieves World covers. So happy to have this in my collection. I had it framed in wooden double framing, happy with how the grey/brown inner frame compliments the piece. This is the cleanest look we've ever gotten of this book cover from 1990 as they didn't shoot it as sharp as this for print. You can make out the canvas surface and the richness of the paint.
