Love all the flying going on. Great Maxima piece.
Hit it
She ain't no Krypto
It ain't no puppy love either
He will give chase
"All Maxima do is have a little fun before I fly"
Superman next to me out of nowhere
It's artwork shows that he's hosting, he says his name is Billigan
I'm sure he's Bill or Willy or Cox, L'il Buddy
And he's plain Shaggy to me
And I wonder if he's ever had a day of skulls in his whole life
We were dueling here so soon on Wednesday
In the art on pages, a comic art bash
The good prelims of the world
We're watching as art's on the cake break
Claiming and offering as best they can, heroes in suits
They love their shiny haunches and brrricks
Back to the page that we see, an artwork score too
Well, there's nothing like Perez DC
'Cause all I wanna do is have some fun
I got a feeling chasing a sexy one
All I wanna do is have some fun
McIsaac's dealing, he's called the doozy one
All I wanna do is have some fun
Until I buy them up, claiming all the Maxima comic art
Is this their first meeting? Very cool page if it isn't, but extra cool if it is. Congrats!
Strictly speaking? Yes and no. She appears and 'meets' Superman before this, but it was like a 'Doombot' of Maxima in Action Comics #645. And this is the first encounter between the 'real' Maxima and Superman.
I absolutely love this page, and especially that last panel. Always great to have friends like Michael. Congratulations, Derek! An absolutely fantastic addition to your collection and definitely where it belongs
Dude!! I never saw the man slayers face mask before! Very nice!
I mean the page is straight movement with this zooming-thru-the-sky pair! I can dig it, Derek. Congrats!
Cool, a page from her first meeting with Superman! The one in #645? Pfft, robots don't count! I love Gammill's work too, so it's nice to see any Superman art from him.
I remember this issue well - congrats!!!
Glad this has made its way into the collection where it belongs.
Beautiful page ! This creative team was on fire !
