"THE NUTCRACKER" BY PIOTR ILYICH TCHAIKOVSKY GIVES RISE TO PATTERNS OF MOVEMENT IN THE RUSSIAN DANCE SEQUENCE OF "THE NUTCRACKER SUITE" FROM FANTASIA (1940). EXECUTED BY THISTLES GIVING RESEMBLANCE TO BOOTED COSSACKS WITH TALL HATS, BELTED BLOUSES, AND FIERCE MUSTASHES. THE COLORS OF THE INSPIRATIONAL CONCEPTS WERE TO REACH THE SCREEN. -
