Daredevil Cover Recreation by Julian Totino Tedesco

This one needs some info. I was really nervous to meet Totino Tedesco because he was the cover artist from Zdarsky's run and I used some of his covers as material to my thesis about Daredevil. When I finally met him, I said that I loved his cover from vol. 1. He said: Do you know the sad part? It isn't mine.
I was so ashamed. But he was so cool and I asked him if he could sketch the cover in his own way, so I could always have "his" cover. Till this day I am really ashamed and I think I will never recover.
