Major Bummer by Doug Mahnke

I was super lucky, and a huge thanks to Ken and the 4C crew, to be able to find a spot on Doug Mahnke's recent sketch op list with 4C comics. There was never going to be a question which character I would ask for if lucky enough to claim a space... and I did, and of course it was going to be Lou Martin, Major Bummer.

Major Bummer was one of those great series that I just dove right into when it came out, and of course was utterly disappointed when it was cut short at 15 issues. That being said, I've re-read the series a number of times and am still blown away by not only Doug's art, but John Arcudi's writing and the creativity of it all. Just a clever, unique, funny and irreverent series it was. Thrilled we are getting at least one more bit in Image! 30th Anniversary anthology #11.

Anyways, here it is, Doug's Major Bummer piece from the 4C sketch opp. It's on 11x14 comic art paper.
