Don Punchatz is a distinguished illustrator who has won numerous gold medals and whose work has been featured in such publications as Esquire, Playboy, Omni, Newsweek, Time, and National Geographic. One of his Time cover paintings was exhibited in the Smithsonian's National Portrait Gallery. His work has been included in Outstanding American Illustrators Today, The Art of Playboy, and Adweek's All American Creativity Report. Punchatz's fine art has been exhibited in many galleries including The Palace of Fine Art in Mexico City and Pittsburgh Gallery of Fine Art. In 1997, Punchatz received the Dallas Visual Communication Society's "Golden Apple Award" for his 25 years of teaching at TCU.
