Can't say I know this book, but having been a '80s teen myself, I can easily share that "big time nostalgia" ;)
I believe I first saw Arion as a backup story in Warlord which they then gave him a title of his own. Nice pick up.
Always a big deal when you can get OA from one of the first books that you bought. Great color guide!
For over 2 decades I've been a big fan of color guides, especially for covers. It took almost a full generation, but I'm glad to see them finally getting some love and attention. I never did pick up Arion myself, but always loved this cover. It's so fascinating to see that the Dr. Martin's Dyes remain as vibrant and beautiful as th day they were first laid down!
CAF Live Update has opened the door and you're blowing it wide open with this one! Glorious YRB2s and 25BKs! I would love it if Bill had to learn the color codes. Always super rare when you need to find a specific one.
That's a really cool cover color guide! The colors really are still so vibrant.
Wow - that's a beauty! Amazing colors still shining strong, even after 40 years (oh, dear - is it really that long..?). Sincere congrats on finding a color guide to the cover of one of your first purchased comics?!? That's outstanding! Well played, Rick!
Wow! Those colors are absolutely vibrant and beautiful! Awesome addition bud!
Such a memorable image
