Before he because a key editor and force at DC comics Whitney Ellsworth started as an artist in the early issues of New Fun (that became More Fun) This is a drawing he did of his character Little Linda - not sure if this was published or a drawing done for fans

This is so cool. Whitney Ellsworth's name appears prominently in the end credits for George Reeves' The Adventures of Superman TV show. He was one of the major forces behind Superman during that period.
