Description
*I added the three other pages I bought from this series under additional images.

Pages are Ryan Benjamin blue lines under Richard Friend inks.

I remember getting a copy of Vampire Hunter D way back in the day on VHS. It was one of the first anime films I saw and it captured my imagination while watching it late at night behind the glow of the old tube tvs. It was one of the first animated films I saw geared towards adults and being young at the time it left an impression knowing what animation can do.

I've always kinda followed Vampire Hunter D projects, read a few of the novels by Hideyuki Kikuchi and Yoshitaka Amano designs/artwork are always something to behold.

Bought these pages a while back when they came up on CAF directly from the inker Richard Friend from the new 5 issue miniseries "Vampire Hunter D: Message from Mars". Was happy to support it in this way and having some of the pages in my collection.

They have such a flow to the linework and the storytelling.  A fine set of artworks that honors and respects Amano's source material.
