Action Comics #967, page 10. Pencils and inks by Tyler Kirkham. I’m a big fan of the early Rebirth era of Superman and Action Comics. Lex Luthor has taken up the mantle of Superman following the death of Superman at the end of the New 52. This was a fun page during that run. Lex and Lois inside his office/lab, his Superman armor front and center, with the motherbox that powers it hovering to the left. Lois is trying to figure out what Lex is up to and why he’s taken it upon himself to fill Superman’s shoes. I really liked the 2/3 splash of the lab combined with the close up of Lex on the bottom panel. Another fun page by a big named artist added to the ColLEXion.
