7" x 9" watercolour

After Nucleus Portland reversed their xenophobic shipping policies I was finally able to start picking up more of Lily's work and boy did I take full advantage of that, as this is just one of three pieces purchased from her February solo show at the gallery.

I think this was fortuitous as Lily's work is really taking off and in the next year or so it's going to either be even more difficult to be ahead of the competition in timing or start to really creep in value.

Great sense of adventure in this piece with the grey skies and bare branches showing it is the season to stay and hunker down, but they are compelled to take this first step in their journey.
