Description
So this was part of the Mike Perkin's sale from Ruben DaCollector Comic Book Art Gallery. I mainly wanted to pick up Amber Blake work where Mike inked Butch Guice's work, but I wanted stuff that was pencil and inks by Mike.

This is the second page and the draw here was that it had Madam Xanadu who has always been a favorite character. She has graduated from C/D lister to at least B list. Still Would love to see DC reprint the Matt Wagner series as a high quality hard cover.

This page really belongs in a friend of mine's collection as I feel he is drawn to pages where we jokingly say they spilled ink all over the page.

It is a great dark and moody page.

Boy howdy, Jim - this is an AWESOME page.  From the photo-realism of the decrepit hallway in panel 1 through the chillingly wonderful -howling- ghost behind Diana (in panels 3&4), down to one of Perkins' signature portraits of epic chiaroscurian awesomeness, this is just a non-stop parade of beautiful graphic storytelling.  It's almost cheating to be able to pick this up as part of that amazing sale, right? ;) What a grab!  Congrats on the great find, Jim!
