Description

I love BUF and Geo McManus's genius. One of the most beautifully drawn and funniest strips from the golden age and one of the few who's humor and art still resonate today. I wish these were reprinted in some complete format. The little jokes like the characters in the hung pictures in the background, the deco features and the animation in Jiggs makes adding new BUF hard to resist. I have had this one for many years but somehow missed putting it up wit the rest of my McManus collection.

I love Bringing Up Father too, for the same reasons. But I have to say this is the first daily I've ever seen with such out of this worls wackiness! They get an elephant and it gets drunk?

The design in McManus's strips is so clean and balanced, but always lively
