Description

As an avid fan of both Film Noir and Crime Fiction, I fell in love with this image immediately after seeing it printed in 'The Art of DANIEL TORRES'. As such, I didn't want this Torres example to escape me when I found it on Heritage Auction. The illustration was published in the December '89 of PLAYBOY, to accompany excerpts of Mickey Spillane's 12th MIKE HAMMER novel: "The Killing Man".. The artwork is about 17.5" x 19.5".. It is Mixed Media that is mostly watercolor with bits of gouache.
