As I try to collect a piece of art from every title I enjoyed as a teen I kind of cheated here. I knew I probably wouldn't pony up the money to get a 70's Kull cover and I think this one is spectacular, so I got this instead. Will Conrad is a terrific artist. Here is HA's write up
Will Conrad Kull: The Shadow Kingdom #4 Cover Original Art (Dark Horse, 2009). Conrad expertly depicts Robert E. Howard's savage swordsman, readying his blade for battle against hordes of Serpent Men. The artist's signature appears in the upper right margin in marker. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10.5" x 15.75". Minor toning and handling wear. In Excellent condition.
