Description

A terrific sketch that Sal Buscema did for my son at a comic convention in New York around 20 years ago. I'm not a big convention attendee, but made the trip just meet Sal in person. It's always great when one of the heroes from your youth turns out to be an equally wonderfully person!

I met him once, too. It's nice when your heroes live up to the billing. And sharing that with your son is wonderful. Oh, and sweet Thor sketch! He chose a nice angle and expression. I loved Sal's work on Thor. Congrats to you and your son!

I have a few commissions from Sal and have had him sign art when I met him ... but I have never seen him draw as he didn't draw when I was able to see him. I love these con pieces - very clear Sal style. Congrats!
