Garv first appeared in L.E.G.I.O.N. '90 No. 15. Garv was from Dryad, the same planet as Strata and they would eventually marry and have a child.

Great art here by Kitson again! I gotta say, I've really learned to appreciate card art over the years. For a long time I didn't care for it either way so I paid it no attention. But then when I picked up a few for my collection (Grummett, natch!) several years ago, I really began to love it and now think it's quite an under collected part of the hobby.
