Description
Most of the people know this phrase: "Look! It's a Bird... It's a Plane... It's Superman!"
A bit less well-known phrase is having almost a similar importance in modern pop culture and is presented here: "Listen! It´s a whirlybird!"

In the period 1950-1984 Paul Murry drew  5.821 comic book pages. Of those pages around 350 original pages ( 6 % ) has survived, and most of them are from 1971-1984.

So, Paul Murry's early, pre-1971 artwork is really difficult to find and acquire! There is 3 known comic book covers from the 1950s and 7 from the 1960s. At highest there is 10 surviving original comic book pages from the 1960s, among them as max 8 pages from "The Pineapple Poachers" -story, but so far only 6 half pages are officially known from it. There is also 2 censored panels from 1961 and 1 cut-out page from 1964.

Around 1970 professor and collector Don Ault asked from Western editor Del Connell if they had destroyed Paul Murry's artwork too, just like they destroyed Carl Barks' artwork. And the sad answer was: "yes". So, after that, the remaining artwork was kept better and saved.

From this period the most interesting ones are 24-pagers from 1970-73. However, only some parts of them has survived, so far only 12 pages from 1970 has been discovered from 3 stories. The earliest and first of them is "Journey to No-No Land" made for WDC 357-358-359.

Here is the 6th page from the 2nd part (WDC #358), i.e. 14th story page. All known 4 surviving pages are from this 2nd part, nothing from WDC #357 & #359.

The size of the artwork is really huge, especially if compared to any superhero artworks from the same period. The image area is 12.25" x 17.75" / 31 x 44 cm.
In the additional photo I have paired the artwork with Finnish Aku Ankka from 4/1972, which is about the same size as the original WDC 358.
